This is a recording of Henry Dumas's story "Will the Circle be Unbroken," read by Fred Moten and mixed with samples by Harmony Holiday. This is the first release in a series of audiobooks from Harmony's archive. The series is called "Djeli" (the French word for griot) and will be accompanied by a digital and print publication as it evolves. Proceeds from this release will go to future releases and to the estate of Henry Dumas, toward releasing some of his unpublished work.The running time of the full recording is around 14 minutes and will be accompanied by a pdf of the liner notes.
